Utilizing Google Maps and Zillow to Make Bids

One foundational step to accomplishing this goal is to provide you, our providers, with the ability to make bids, remotely. This will drastically reduce your time spent acquiring customers, thus, allowing you to service more customers. More revenue in the same amount of time equals more profit.

To that end, on the 'Make Bid' modal, Chappy provides you with 'Get Drive Time', 'Google Maps' and 'Zillow' buttons that make calculating your bid that much easier. 

Get Drive Time - We already show how far away a job is, but now Get Drive Time will show you the actual time it takes to get to the property from your address courtesy of Google.

Zillow - Zillow provides a wealth of information to help you make a more accurate bid. For home cleaning companies, Zillow provides # of bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, # of stories and often shows a number of interior pictures. For lawn care companies, Zillow provides lot size and often pictures of the yard. For pool cleaning companies, you can often find pictures of the pool.

Google Maps - Google provides a wealth of data, especially for any home service providers working outside of the home. Clicking the Google Maps button and then switching to satellite view allows you to see a great overview of the lot. Additionally, a pool cleaning company can right-click and use Measure Distance to get a fairly accurate measurement of someone's pool, as well as if they should expect much foliage to dirty the pool. You can also switch to street view to get a great view of the front yard.
